I’ve had this problem on my Pixel 9 Pro, Android 15. I noticed that sometimes the banner in the notification pane opens for Roon Arc, and when this happens the playback does not stop when the app is in the background. However, sometimes that notification pane disappears, and then playback will stop with the app in the background. I’ve found that closing the app, reopening, and starting playback again will often get the notification pane to appear again.
