I have an ongoing playlist where I store all my favorite songs, and I set Arc to download this playlist for offline listening. However, when I’m offline and I browse albums to listen to some songs, I’m warned that I’m offline, even though the whole album is downloaded track by track. Could Arc download an offline TOC (Table of Contents) of my library to browse when offline to check downloaded songs against this offline TOC?

Ok, this seems to be doubly odd because AFAIK the offline mode was added as a way to tell the ARC app that you know that you are offline and it doesn’t have to warn you all the time.
Seems more like a bug to me that should go into Support rather than a feature suggestion

I just have a banner at the bottom of the screen, with fuzzy album covers and empty albums. Despite some tracks downloaded individually.
I moved it to Support for you and made a small change to the title. Let’s see what support says
(If you see a pen icon next to the thread title, then you can edit the title and change the category. But for new forum users it can take a while until this is enabled even for your own threads; I spend too much time here and so I can do it generally)
Thank you for your post. According to account diagnostics, you have at least three mobile devices running Roon ARC.
To investigate, we’ll need to know which devices manifest the behavior you’ve described. Please share an approximate timestamp of when you last observed this discrepancy with Offline mode or the name of an Album that prompted an offline warning.
All my devices are impacted. It seems more feature related than bug related.
To sum up my problem: I downloaded a playlist, not an album. When offline, if I browse an album to which a track belongs, it appears empty.
To clarify, you’ve downloaded Playlists that cumulatively contain all the tracks on an Album. When you toggle Offline mode and navigate to the Album page by clicking on one of these tracks in a Playlist, you’re not able to play content. This is an inevitable consequence of ARC and Roon’s object mapping - the Album page in the Albums browser will contain the database-housed files, not the downloaded versions on the phone.
What you’re requesting is an offline browser mode that excludes objects that haven’t been downloaded, preventing ARC from linking to the Album page stored in the database and not the phone.
