Aries Mini not being discovered by Roon

Hello, similar to this thread, Roon does not detect my Aeries Mini.

I have checked the Roon Ready setting on the Aeries, and it is enabled. Firmware is 8.1.

I moved and had my Roon Core and other gear in a box for a few months. Now I am setting it up again. I upgraded Roon to today’s latest, and now it no longer finds the Aeries Mini.

Hi Ashley. Thank you for the information/suggestions. I verified that my Aries Mini is at Firmware version 8.1. David_Crosbie suggested there may be a setting on the Aries Mini that needed to be toggled ON. Turns out that is correct.I checked the Roon check box and Roon sees the Aries Mini. I am listening to it as I type. Thanks again for your assistance. Norman Thornton

I figured this out. If the Aeries Mini is not plugged into the DAC, it will not show up. I don’t understand why, but this is at least consistent and it has always been this was IIRC.
