Description of the issue
When Roon identifies each disc of the box set (I am ripping each disc as a separate album with the box set disc number then the box set name as a tag.) It has every artist and other credits in the whole box set applied to every disc. So if I search for Beethoven then I get a whole lot of stuff that has nothing to do with my search. The only solution I can find is to unidentify each disc manually. Really slows down my process but I think it has to be done. I think Roon needs a way to turn off ID as it seems to get in the way more often than not (at least that’s my experience with a large classical library.) I don’t suppose there’s a way to mass unID albums? I’ve run into this on two Giulini box sets from Warner so it is not just DG. What a mess!
