Hi @eye,
Thanks for writing in to let us know about this. The next step here will be to examine your Roon Server logs. Can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Hi @eye,

If you haven’t already, please try changing the assigned DNS server in your router to a known, reliable service. We often recommend Cloudflare, 1.1.1.1. We’ll examine new logs after this to A/B test.

Sorry for the delay, I was on holiday. I can’t change my ISP’s router configuration, so I’ve edited the DNS servers in the Windows IPv4 settings on my Roon Server. Will that be adequate for testing?

@eye thanks for getting back to us. That should work. I’ve pulled your new logs and it looks like you are getting a lot of dropouts when playing to your system output and laptop but we don’t see the traces that we saw in your previous log set. Has changing the DNS allowed discographies to load?

@daniel Thanks. I hadn’t experienced the issue in a while, but the discographies are loading again!

Could you elaborate on the dropouts? Anything I can do to improve the situation? I’m always using my laptop over wifi, but I’m assuming the system output is the one on my Roon Server machine?
