We have a potential fix for this issue included in the latest Early Access build, Roon 2.70.
If you’d like to migrate your server and remotes to the EA branch for testing, you can follow these instructions:
For those who don’t wish to migrate to Early Access, this fix should filter into an upcoming public update for Roon within the near future. We’ll share another udpate here when that happens.
For those who do migrate to EA to try out the fix, please post in #earlyaccessdirectly with any issues or concerns. Our QA team will follow up directly.

I am on Early Access anyway and indeed this seems fixed in 2.70 (B1665), at least for those artists that I reported here before, which all work again for me:
