I logged into roon today and found that most of my artists and albums I had added to my library had disappeared. I had several hundred and now have 39 My top played artists have all gone
Describe your network setup
Dell Dimension PC ethernet to router . Not relevant to this issue
I have lost 90% of artists and albums from roon library too. Played yesterday with no problem on shuffle mode for entire library as i do every day in my gym. Submitted my own ticket . roon library issue ](Dropbox) see history which now show tracks as unavaiable
Thanks for taking the time to write in and share your report!
Good to know you’ve also lost some local content as well. Can you please let us know which Roon Server machine you’re seeing the issue on? We see a few tied to your account - we’ll enable dignaostics and take a closer look into things for you.
I have it on USER-PC 192.168.68.108 I have been unable to delete the other roon servers despite an outstanding request. all the options suggested I had already tried.
Currently all my library is availble in My Quobuz as others have stated so this is NOT a unique problem to me.
I have over 500 artists I think reduced to 39 now.
I am unsure what the local content is but the 39 artists seems strange but perhaps reflect the last shuffle play i did as that use that most days when in the gym
In my recent activity interestingly it shows material added54 days ago as recent. 2 at 54 days and 1 at 754 dyas and then 86 days and then 187 days which is strange. i add new albums perhaps each day
Just checked also the artists and albums I have relate to tracks i have recently played. Paul Weller for example has only 2 albums in and they were due to tracks being played on shuffle 2 days ago.
what I mean is that this shows the history of what I played 2 days ago. these were from shuffle mode of my library. These artists/albums have disappeared except the most recent which appear as albums in my library.
I’ve lost a load as well. As in 1000s of tracks.(Qobuz)
I spotted some albums I know for sure and when I add them back they add them as norm but automatically add tags I’d added to it and the favourite tracks as well.
When I look at a Tag grouping “Electronic Albums” I created, there are stacks missing. I have no idea how I’m going to find them what’s missing and what’s not.
I’m hoping there is something that can be done as this really undermines confidence of the reliability of this as a library app.
Thanks for your message. We recently had a fix regarding missing Qobuz albums that went live earlier this week. Can you please check and let us know if you’re seeing any improvement on your end since the fix went out? Thanks!
