But to what point? It doesn’t resolve the OP’s question and all supported versions of Windows already have the ability to access SMB shares. It’s just the visibility that is the issue. That and, for some, the increased security policies introduced with Windows 11 24H2 (for which there is a fix as highlighted in my first post above) - but there has been no indication that this is the case for the OP so either he is not running 24H2 or he has already resolved that issue.

Roon is in the process of updating SMB with RoonOS, but this is a workaround in the meantime. Thanks for your patience.
