Description of Issue

Hi,
I’ve never created a topic so I hope I’m doing it correctly. I just purchased an “Atoll ST200 Signature” streamer/preamp. It is a Roon-Ready device. At first, the Atoll didn’t even show up in Roon. I updated the Atoll firmware. I now have the latest firmware version. The Atoll is now recognized but unfortunately it appears as “uncertified” and of course, it doesn’t work. I’ve rebooted both the core and the streamer twice over. It still appears as uncertified.

Could someone please help me resolve this issue? Much appreciated!

Rich

I’ve found the solution to my problem.

There is an additional step to execute after the firmware update to benefit from Roon-Ready compatibility:

  • Using the Atoll app (I used the android app but I imagine the Apple app works as well) go to Settings/Device ID menu and chose the device model you have from the list (in my case the ST200)
  • Restart the device using the power on/off switch at the back of the device.

Your Atoll component should now be ready to use in Roon.
