I have a set of Kii Three speakers that I have used with Roon for several years. My bridge device is a Sonore UltraRendu that is connected to the Kii Control (the DAC that feeds the speakers) via USB. The USB input is selected on the Kii Control. Roon Ready is enabled on the UltraRendu. This setup has worked correctly for ages and there has been no change in the system. Tonight, the Kii Control zone disappeared from Roon.
I have tried restarting RoonReady in the configuration of the UltraRendu, power cycling the UltraRendu, power cycling the Kii Control and the speaker, power cycling the computer running ROCK and power cycling my router. None of these actions fixed the problem. All the other devices on my system seem to work fine and the Kii Control works fine through other inputs other than USB.
Any ideas as to how I can get this zone back?
Note: I tried to use the troubleshooting support form but once I answer question h, it loops me back to question d and there’s a continuous loop.
Thanks for reaching out with your message! For us to be able to better assist you, can we kindly ask that you resubmit a proper support ticket by filling out the questionnaire using the below link? Please select the option that best matches your specific issue type instead of simply selecting “other”, as this form was created to help diagnose issues while gathering information and it will allow the support team to be able to best assist with your specific issue type. I would suggest choosing “I’m having trouble playing music” and then “My DAC, streamer or speaker doesn’t appear as a zone”. Thank you!
Hi Daniel. I’m unable to submit the support ticket. I’ve gone to the form and answered each question. Once the form gets to item 4.h and I hit OK, it takes me back to question 4.d. There doesn’t appear to be any way to get past item 4.h so I can’t complete the support ticket request.
