Description Of Issue

After updating the software last night. It appeared “unexpected error communicating with audio device”. And after restart the Roon app. It cannot found my device on setup anymore.

The device was “uncertified” but I have applied for developer already. Please advise.

Hi @king_leung,

Can you please share a screenshot of your Roon Settings -> Audio tab? Do you see any audio device appear there?

What kind of NAS is the Core?
Are you using latest Roon build?

A post was split to a new topic: No Audio Devices After Update

My NAS is Synology DS718+, running at latest build.

I can see the device in audio setting, yet I can’t select it successfully.

I have solved the problem now by restored the backup, so I can’t provide the screen shot. Maybe other pals have similar problem could supplement.
