Description of Issue

After the 2.0 update (was working correctly previously), I am unable to consistently select either of the RaspberryPi/Schiit Modius audio devices. Upon enabling either device 1 or device 2, both devices take the same Audio Zone name in Settings/Audio so that they cannot be independently selected. Even with BOTH devices disabled, editing the zone name of either, causes both to change names.

What I have done so far:
1). Reinstalled ROCK using the ‘factory reset’ disk image
2). Re-imaged both problematic endpoints with latest ropiee and ropieeXL builds

This appears to be a server configuration data issue. I am asking for assistance with resolution of this issue.

Image showing duplicate zone names:

Trying to fix it from the UI by changing the zone name of the one that is incorrect (change ropiee02-livingRoom’s zone name to ‘Living Room’)

The result: both devices now have zone name ‘Living Room’

So, I restaged all affected endpoints, and rebuilt my ROCK NUC as a Linux ROON server and observed that the problems I was having were overcome. Some interesting observations along the way … teeing the server log console output showed a lot of interaction with roonlabs machines. I guess i didn’t realize there was so much traffic. Anyway, problem solved.
