Description of Issue
During Playback and between tracks sound output stops. Checking Settings > Audio and see that System Output and Schiit Bifrost have both disappeared. Unable to find either of them again - - “No Audio Devices Found” message at the bottom of that screen.
Switching to the Qobuz app… music plays just fine.
I have this issue too since the latest update.
In my case my Roon Ready device disappears and I see the Select An Audio Device option.
If I wait a while (usually about 30 seconds to a minute) it comes back but I have to press play again.
I’ve noticed that although Roon Ready vanishes the same device’s AirPlay option remains.
It occurs with all my devices.
If I restart Roon it stops happening for a while (sometimes for a day or two) but it always starts happening again.
