Wow. What great trivia. I’ve had that album since release (my introduction to Waits), but had no clue. And of course loved Elvira as a kid!
I’ve had that album in my collection for quite some time and I never knew that was Cassandra Peterson in the background.

Interesting article anyway. Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) briefly dated Elvis Presley! And she wasn’t sure if it was her on the cover or not since she “doesn’t remember much of the '70’s”. 
I prefer to believe in my version.
