My Audiolab Omnia arrived today, and I have it playing music wirelessly from roon. My roon core is on a Microsoft Surface tablet. I installed DTS Play-Fi for Windows on the same Surface tablet and added the Omnia as a device in Play-Fi. Roon immediately recognized the DTS Play-Fi Audio Renderer after installation, so I can send music from roon to Omnia via Play-Fi.
Great, that’s a solution for the people with Windows, I use Mac and DTS play-Fi do not have App for Macs. but I install a Roon extention Rooextend/rooUPNP and it works, is no so stable but…
Anyways is a good solution for the guys with Roon core in a Windows. my core is in a QNAP, shame not for me, and I will not buy any windows for Roon nor any other reason. I use Windows several years (I’m 57 years old) and Windows was always a headache (my experience), but good option for those with Windows.
