Audirvana Integration as engine into Roon

It means that Amarra corrects original sound?

De gustibus non est disputandum…

Hmm, ā€œabout this there is no disputeā€???

I just like how it sounds. I don’t know how the Amarra software works in terms of an audio engine but I sure like it. I’m not interested in accurate or correct - I just want it to please my ears.

No; simply saying - Roon’s user interface is not far beyond for me.
Too much pictures an is not ergonomic enough.

No, no, not questioning your opinion. Just wondering what the translation was.

I’m away from home at the moment, with my MacBook Pro using a USB-connected Meridian DAC. Normally I would employ a NUC i7 core and DigiOne Signature transport on the network with either Roon or Audirvana as player through expensive speakers, and consistently preferring the sound of A+ but Roon’s far superior interface.

With the laptop and more modest speakers in a vacation condo this morning, the difference in SQ is somehow exaggerated, NOT more comparable. Both my local files and Tidal sound noticably more realistic using Audirvana. Will someone find a solution to have it both ways? Wouldn’t it be great to have A+ SQ with a Roon GUI?

Funny. For me, Roon’s ergonomics are magnitudes better than Audirvana. But, hey, if you like Audirvana, more power to you, and happy listening!
