Auralic Aeries S1 Shuttering with Roon possible Shairport Sync issue

Hi, when streaming with Roon to the Auralic Aeries S1 the music is shuttering, crackling in an awful sort of way. Streaming via Qobuz and Lighting DS (auralic’s streaming streaming software) the music sounds terrific.

When I first set up said streamer and linked it to Roon. Roon recognized two devices for the one said streamer. These were Auralic Aeries Mini and Auralic Aeries S1 (Shairport Sync). I used the Auralic Aeries Mini as my endpoint because the Auralic Aeries S1 (Shairport Sync) cut out, shuttered, and crackled. The Auralic Aeries Mini endpoint sounded terrific. Today I turned on the system and both endpoints are Auralic Aeries S1 (Shairport Sync) and the music is unlistenable. Auralic Aeries Mini has disappeared or been replaced with another Auralic Aeries S1 (Shairport Sync). Please help me fix this problem.
