I can not get roon to find the device . It just continues to search and times out. The altair is on my network so I am stumped. Tom Cox
Hi Tom,
Can you tell us more about your network. One of the things to check is to make sure that the Core and the Altair are on the same network subnet. This can occur sometimes if one device is wired and the other is wireless. If one is wireless, try putting all the devices on the wired portion of the network.
Can you tell us more about your Roon core setup. What is the machine? OS? How is connected to the network.
We can try and help when we know more information.

My network is Setup using negear orbi system very stable works with everything else in the house. this is the only problem, but I am not sure it is set up right. The roon keeps looking for the altair, but never finds it . I have had it running for over an hour at times and it does not contect. Roon runs perfectly on my computer. roon ready is turned on. any ideas.
By the way I can not get the altair to work on the wired setup just wireless.
