Auralic Support/Community forum vanished?

@Mikael_Ollars @Greg_Munro @Jim_Gregory

Not sure if you noticed that Auralic ceased to exist. There’s a thread about it. I guess that’s why their forum was closed down, too, though no idea why this Discourse version popped up briefly.

Thanks Mario, i am aware of the potential demise of Auralic. I figured that moving the support forum to discourse.group was an attempt to uphold some form of support, even if only from “fellow users”.

We’ll see what happens i suppose…

I had initially thought so as well when this popped up, but I think hosting on Discourse isn’t free, so it struck me as odd. I guess we’ll see. Seeing that the Roon forum provides a home for several vendors who don’t have their own, I hope there will at least always be that.

Hi All,

It seems that the AURALiC community forum is playing a game of hide-and-seek with the members. The auralic.discourse.group is now also defunct but let’s just keep going as long as possible.

Hey Gary, Guycord (previously an Auralic Community forum member) has started “Auralic Owners Community” on discord. There are 11 members so far.

Thanks Jim. Will get on it tomorrow.

This is getting more worse by the minute :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

We knew that sooner or later the community would be closed, it was just a matter of time.

Better to stay away from Chinese Streamer Manufacturers. You never know when they just disappear or introduce a firmware lock (matrix audio) or generally just abandon older hardware.

Marc. You are right i am selling my devices. It’s a big dissapointment. I dont hope other brands wil follow like Lumin ore Naim etc. My opnion on this is they left so many people in the dark and spent hard earned money for their devices.

I can’t seem to find the Auralic group on discord. Searching for Auralic or Auralic Owners Community says nothing found. Is there a direct link. I’m new to discord and don’t like what I see so far. A mess of a service, IMO.

Thanks Jim. Application pending.

You’re all good. Guycord is the OP

Anyone knows if the Auralic forum comes back !!!

I wouldn’t lump Lumin into your comment. The company has a well established corporate parent in Pixel Magic Systems LTD, founded in 2003, which caters to the broadcast industry. Just because Auralic has fallen shouldn’t cause one to cast a pall over all Chinese-based companies.

Here we have a good alternative Auralic forum.

Hi michael.

Point taken. But its a bit frustrating when you have like me a Auralic Vega S1 with PSU that is only a couple of months old. It maybe be wishfull thinking from my part, but i sincerely hope that Auralic can make a return on the market.
