The A1 is currently going through the Roon Ready certification process with Roon. Because the review is carried out in stages by Roon and may require further adjustments on our side along the way, we are unable to promise a specific completion date.
Once certification is complete, Roon support will be provided through a system software update — no action will be needed on your A1 hardware.
We will announce the completion on our website (www.aurender.com) and our official channels, and we will follow up with you as soon as we have news.

I’m not Roon, however, I know from experience that Roon’s policy is not to comment on certification (or development) timelines.
I appreciate this is not the answer you would have hoped for.
As fellow enthusiast, I’d further advise never to purchase a device based on the expectation of what future functionality it may have (I was one burned this way).
Thanks, Carl. However, the issue is that Aurender advertised the A1 as a Roon Ready device on its website, and that was a major factor in my purchasing decision. Furthermore, the reseller failed to inform me that the product was not actually Roon Ready at the time of sale. Given these circumstances, I feel that I was misled. Although I have learned a valuable lesson from this experience, the situation has unfortunately undermined my confidence in both Aurender and the credibility of the Roon Ready ecosystem.
It’d actually be best practice to not only check a manufacturer’s claims, but, of course, also check Roon’s information, as they’re involved in this too.
I fully agree, it is disappointing Aurender have premature promoted this device as Roon Ready.
I will notify Roon’s partners team, as it seems on this occasion Aurender have jumped the ‘certification’ gun. Which whilst not of Roon’s making is not what they’d wish.
As @Marin_Weigel shared, the one source of truth for Roon Ready / Roon Tested device certification is Roon’s Website.
As Aurender have many products certified, then on face value it should work out.
Maybe have a discussion with Aurender for compensation.
