Describe the issue My Avast antivirus has blocked RAATServer.exe "because it was infected with IDP.Generic". This happened when this week's update was processed on Windows. Is this a "false positive"?

Stupid Avast again. It’s probably reporting a false positive, in which case report it to Avast and create an exception for the time being
Avast seems to have a bit of a history for reporting a false positive for this:

You can upload the file to VirusTotal which will scan it with about 80 different scanners, this will give you a better picture:
