Roon Server is running. The Admin page just “shows” it as Not Running.
I see now ![]()
Could be the webUI cache needs clearing.
eek! That’s not good. Let me see what I can find out.
ok, I think I know what is going on. This is my new high priority today. I’ll post as I have more information.
Roon is running, music is playing.
The server administration page shows the status as “Not running.”
RoonOS 3.0 (build 279) early access
RoonServer 2.71 (build 1680) production
Just wanted to follow up on this. A fix has been submitted for this. As soon as QA signs off on it we should have a hotfix out shortly after that.
I hope this is not the same QA that was signing off the 2.71/build no 1680 in the first place …
This is yet another separate problem with server not starting on older macOS versions such as Monterey and Ventura. (See many existing Support threads)
So there are at least three problems:
- RoonOS (ROCK, Nucleus): server starting normally and working, but incorrectly shown as not running in web UI. (Roon issue)
- Mac with Monterey/Ventura: server failing to start. (Roon issue)
- Silent Angel: server failing to start (possibly Silent Angel issue according to their reply in a support thread, but perhaps partially Roon issue)
Moderator request
Please only post about this issue (Incorrect Roon Status Display on RoonOS web page) here.
If there’s a problem with Roon not running it’s not this problem thus create a separate topic.
Many thanks.
Any idea about an ETS (Estimate to Solve) timeline?
I’m not 100% sure. We had several hotfixes we were needing to add as well. I believe all of them are in and will hopefully be released very soon. Maybe today or tomorrow?
I’ll post an update as soon as I have one.
Apparently we just released it… [B1684]
So, roughly now ![]()
And all good for me
For me the issue has been solved with latest release
Thank you!
Indeed, everything seems okay/restored now (running a Nucleus Titan). Thank you to @Stephen and the Roon team for turning this around swiftly.
