Hey @Leandro_Fina,

Thanks for your report! We were able to review a recent diagnostic report from your Roon Server, and saw a conflict with Dropbox. More specifically: ;

Debug: [Broker:Misc] [dropbox] received status code 409, error summary: path/not_found/

Can you confirm you have an active connection and sync with your Dropbox and Roon account? I would log-out and re-login and see if you’re able to create a fresh backup afterward.

Let me know! :+1:

Hi @Benjamin

Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately, the problem persists and was the same before I started using Dropbox.

Leandro

Hi @Leandro_Fina,

Can you please attempt a manual backup, and share the date and time, and let me know the results?

Are you able to create a new backup from a different location successfully?

We’ll be monitoring this thread for your reply. :+1:

Hi, I just started a backup on the server manually on January 28th at 5:04 pm. Unfortunately with the same result.

Hey @Leandro_Fina,

Thanks for the follow-up and I’m sorry to hear you’re still having issues.

Were you able to test the above? Can you complete a backup successfully when not using Dropbox?

Based on a recent diagnostic report, we see the failure happened while reading a file (OSFileStreamStrategy.Read), meaning Roon encountered corrupted data during the backup process.

As a next step, can you please run a disk check on your Windows? You can run: chkdsk /f /r via Command Prompt.

Also, if you haven’t yet, sign out of Dropbox in Roon and re-link the account.

Let us know the results, thank you!

Hi, I have already signed out of Dropbox and signed back in. Unfortunately without success:

What my terminal tells me: C:\Users\leand>chkdsk /f /r
Access denied because you do not have sufficient permissions or
the hard drive may be locked by another process.
You will need to run this utility in extended mode
and ensure that the hard drive is unlocked.

Hi @Leandro_Fina,
This article will show you how to get around that error message. Fixed: Access Denied As You Do Not Have Sufficient Privileges Please let us know whether you need more assistance!
