Here’s some rant for Roon devs from a fellow software practitioner; backward compatibility is your responsibility, not your users.
Specially right now that the price of hardware is skyrocketing. If Apple pulls the rug from under you removing some API your relied on, it is your responsibility to find options for users that paid your company for a “Lifetime Membership”.
The way you ship backward compatible software shows me what’s your approach to “planned obsolesce” when it comes to your own flagship hardware.
