I generally make a point of not talking about money. All I was asking for was friendly recommendations from other people who enjoy listening to music. Lots of people obliged, for which I am appreciative.
I received a PM about this, so I checked the specs and found that this unfortunately does not work.
The A500 and A700 only has an analog XLR input, not the digital AES input for U1 MINI. As a DSP speaker, strangely the only digital input it has is WiSA.
To use a direct Lumin - Buchardt setup without going through the Hub, one will have to use a Lumin with analog XLR output such as D2 or T2. Although some may question the SQ impact of extra DAC - ADC conversion, I often read positive user reports especially from AV receivers and less expensive DSP speakers. And I’d prefer a cable connection to WiSA.

You are meaning, that an analogue connection (with a Lumin D2 or T2) is the better solution than to use something connected to the hub?
By the way: Only in using the hub, you are able to use the room corrections from Buchardt.
I’m fairly certain that will sound different to WiSA. I hope they may be better, but as always someone will need to try it and report.
Yes I know that by not using the Hub, one loses room correction and the ability to have multiple inputs.
