Best Ethernet Dongles to Use When Setting Up Pi Zero 2 W with RoPieee

Hi everyone,

I believe I am going to need an Ethernet dongle to set up a Pi Zero 2 W with RoPieee. Which Ethernet dongles work “out of the box” the RoPieee set-up process?

When RoPieee detects there’s no connection, it will setup a wireless access point. You can connect to that (from your phone for example), select your wifi network in a webinterface and that’s it: RoPieee will reboot, connect to your wifi and continues it’s installation/setup.

This is wonderful news!

I would like to get an Ethernet dongle to have as a back-up option if the wireless network becomes unstable. Do you have any recommendations?

No I just use the one that came with my laptop. Most will do.
