Best Practice box set ripping

I realise box sets are not the best part of Roon but perhaps over the years people have found ways to to get around some of the limitations.

I have just purchased Thin Lizzy’s Live and Dangerous Box set.

Disc 2 - 8 are live concerts from different venues. Is there any way to get the information “Hammersmith Odeon 14 Nov 1976” linked or indicating CD 2?

I’m not a box set expert but from what I have gathered, no. To get that, you have to split the box set into separate albums (with all the tagging and identifying the goes with it). Then you can also set separate art

There are lots for open feature requests for individual album art but this is the most voted-for I could find

Different album covers for discs in a boxset

Hi It would be great if you can select a different album cover in multi-disc albums like in a box set. E.g. in the Rolling Stones in Mono so that you can see the individual album art for Aftermath and Their Satanic Majesties Request when the discs are playing. Best, Thomas

As you said, would also need the ability to name the discs and a better way to view and choose them than the silly little menu. I am sure there are requests for this as well

It can be said with great certainty that when it comes to box sets Roon really has you boxed in.
