BETA Release 2024.10

Here you go Harry; 9e158e7abbdc98fd

Its now running BETA 2024.10 the update came through before I’d seen your response.

RoPieee 2024.10 (1825) [BETA]

For me new beta works well

  1. WiFi - scaning, correct

  2. Remote: USB OSMC: skip +/-, Play/Pause, Stop OK. Can’t change volume +/- but this depend of DAC. Only when change Roon setings to DSP I can change volume of sound.

  3. Buy Me a Coffee - can’t see this link etc.

  4. Change log: can’t see link, maybe in beta version isn’t available?

  5. Temperature of board: 43.8 C (1 degrees more than stable version)

My Unit:

  • Hardware: Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5 - 4 GB RAM - 32GB microSD
  • Network: WiFi
  • Audio: USB DAC Yamaha Receiver
  • Display: No
  • Remote: OSMC

I’ve only had a quick listen using my Meridian HP amp connected to the USBridge Sig but so far no issues. I listened to tracks that I knew had popping/clicks from when the issue first occurred with the USBridge Sig. So far it sounds fantastic, as it should.

Swapped out of the Bluesound to the incredibly superior LUMIN U2 Mini. Significantly enhanced clarity and separation. My K-horns have never sounded better.

@Mark_Darnell
I am very pleased for you that you are very happy with your LUMIN U2 Mini, but I don’t know what this has to do with RoPieee. You posted in the “RoPieee Release 2024.10”-thread. Perhaps this should have been posted in another thread like " Showing (off) your Roon setup - description and photos [2024]".
Enoy the music, Frank.

Is it my imagination, or does this Beta shutdown much more quickly than before?

I used to see a few seconds of fast flashing green, on shutdown. Now it just goes straight to just red.

Hi,

I’ve pushed out another update that fixes a bug in RoPieee’s API.
We’re moving towards the release.

Thanks
