I don’t use Plex, but like another day in Verox update

i’ve got caldera enabled alongside airplay and roonbridge … convenience switching seems to work well most of the time with caldera set for standalone playback … when caldera is part of a group, it won’t give up the audio device, so probably some more work to do there (either in caldera or the verox scripts or both ?)

I think Caldera: I don’t know what Verox can do more then sending a ‘stop’ command…

i think it’s the yield command that should do it (tho that might not be working as intended yet … dev looking into it)

For the rest I think it works pretty good.

Just an observation - not sure you missed it or its as a continuity consideration but all the services are still showing %h [RoPieee] in the Service name field - by default.

Will Tidal playback options ever make an appearance?

Yeah. Settings like that won’t be changed. The default for new installs however, that will change.

Not sure. Right now all the options that exist are unofficial, so that always makes it a bit of a challenge. I’m trying to get into contact with them, but the contacts that I had in the past are all gone. Their engineering team was pretty much located in Europe, but things have shifted on their end.

Be great to complete the options for the standalone use cases and for those of us that have partners that refuse to use roon…hope you can get some traction with the Tidal folks :folded_hands:
