Blues or Blues-based Rock

Kirk Hammett owns Peter Green’s `59 Les Paul (burst) which had been passed from Green to Gary Moore. This may be the most valuable guitar in popular music.

had to have a look after Kirk Lee Hammett, I don´t know him, his music or any other metal…

Metallica Black Album is a must for any rock music collection.

One cannot go through life without Enter Sandman and Nothing Else Matters.

Recently bought the LP as well.

found it in my collection of 1001 albums to hear before I die, giving it a first listen now, but seems not to be my sound…
Never was a rocker, I´m from the alternative corner…

I was lucky enough to see Otis Spann live at the Portsmouth (UK) Guildhall in April 1964. He was part of the touring “American Folk Blues and Gospel Caravan”. The line up was Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Cousin Joe Pleasants, Rev. Gary Davis, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee. Those were the days😃.

What a fantastic line up! I’ve seen a stack of bands at the Guildhall (I grew up in Portsmouth) but nothing close to that!
