Bluesound Node 2 as a core?

Hello, I have got two questions.

  1. Is it possible to set up Blueasound 2 as a core ? If so, I would appreciate your help how to do it.

  2. Is it possible that iPhone app is connected to a core not through WiFi, but LTE connection ?

Your hints will be appreciated. Bartosz

  2. I suppose so (for example using VPN to your home network) but not really worth it

No, the Bluesound Node 2 cannot be used as a Core machine. We have information about supported Core platforms in our Knowledge Base.

No, remote devices must be connected to the same network as the Core machine.

Many thanks for your quick reply. It appears that I will wait until the system develops and the answer for the both above is yes.

Hi,

You will never get yes to both your questions as the Node 2 is a finished product. You would need a new streamer all together if you want it to integrate a core also.

As for use via LTE I believe this is in the works but without an ETA as of yet.
