Since I’ve had Roon (couple years) I have connected the Blusound Node to my modem via Ethernet cable. Suddenly the connection is gone, and Roon does not see the device. If I reboot the Node via OS, in the Blusound app (with the Ethernet cable disconnected) it will be discovered by Roon again, but only in Airplay. Plug the ethernet back in and connection is lost. Rebooted everything in different orders, no difference. I want to use Ethernet instead of Airplay for all the usual reasons. Anyone else?
Hi Gregory,
Is your Bluesound Node on the same IP-range than your Roon Core?
If you are not sure what I am talking about, can you give the IP-address of both your Roon Core ( = Roon server) and your Bluesound Node.
Kind regards, Frank.
And an extra question: your Roon Core, on what is it running? ROCK, Windows, macOS, …?
