BOSE Companion 50 not playing & skipping tracks

ROCK 1.7 Build 710 running stable (42+ days) on OS Build 227,
Hardware = NUCi5BEC / 16 GB / 512 GB SDD with core only

Connected to SYNOLOGY DS918+ / 8 GB / 4x HDD with all audio-files in FLAC

Core Hardwired to all devices via 1GB Switch. All other devices incl. Squeezebox & NATIVE Vita
operating flawlessly

connected to BOSE Companion 50 (Wasapi) &

SW = Windows 10/64, latest version & patch, with Roon Remote

Description Of Issue

Whilst I can hear (low quality) audio via roon-remote on JABRA Headphone, roon refuses to play on the Bose Companion. Logfile indicates incompatibility between audio-format send & BOSE, resulting in each files being cancelled and skipped to next track (without playing any music)

This repeats itself in miliseconds until the entire album has been “played”.
Looking at other entries from 2018, recommendation was to change the channelmix to 5.1,
but current UI is not allowing to do this anymore. Also Up/Down-Sampling greyed out and not
possible to adjust.
My understanding from other post = either sample frequency incompatibility or channel-mix,
but have no idea how I can adjust this in current version ?

Any idea ?? Your help is truly appreciated !

The Bose-device works flawlessly with any other audio-stream, but has refused from the first minute since I am using ROON to connect to Roon Remote. My original considerations always had been that this was due to some PC-related setup, but then I acquired and attached a JABRA Engage 75 USB-connected wireless headphones, which turned out to work seamlessly with Roon (albeit with a low audio quality, which is logical and due to the nature of the JABRA which is designed for phone-conferences).

Hence the problem IS linked to an incompatibility BOSE - USB-drive - ROON.
I am not using any DSP with this device. Screenshots of setup & drivers below.

Any news on this topic. I’m experiencing exactly the same.
Bose Companion doesn’t work using Roon on any device, but works perfectly on every device using for example the Qobuz app.
No solution yet.

SOLVED:
Set channel output to 5.1 instead of 2.0 and select ‘upsample 2.0 to 5.1’ below. Then everything works!!
