Description Of Issue

Received notice that the M3 is now Roon Ready. Reached out to Bricasti support to get the latest firmware for the network card, version 1.9. With 1.9 installed now the signal path reports sample rate conversion from 44.1 to 352.8. I have no DSP enabled. I have set the DSP settings back to factory defaults and rebooted the ROCK and M3 with no change in behavior. The display on the Bricasti reports the sample rate as 44.1.

Your dac is upsampling the signal, not Roon.

Following on from @Arlen,

Now that the Bricasti M3 is Roon Ready it can report back to Roon via the RAAT protocol that it is internally upsampling.

Roon then displays this information on the signal path after the M3 which indicates that’s it the M3 rather than Roon performing the DSP.

Trust this helps.

Thank you.
