I can’t see this being reported as a bug but it has been mentioned in various forums and I experience it myself:
I use Roon in Dark Mode on an iPad Air. When Roon is loading or reloading, it creates a bright white flash which is getting very disturbing to the eyes, particulary in the evenings in darker environments.
It would be good if this could be erradicated / solved
Many thanks

I’ve got the same issue. Think Roon needs better iOS integration.

The „grey bar“ issue already has its own bug report. Would be good if you voice there that you are affected as well. (I also have that problem…)
Launching Roon on my iPad 12.9 (3rd gen) sometimes displays a grey horizontal bar highlighting the date and time on the left and WiFi and battery indicator on the right whilst in dark mode. Most of the time it is black but not always.

I experience this as well on all my iOS devices. If it can’t be done away with how about making it black instead of white?
Same here.
The good news is that 1.8 refreshes/reconnects faster than 1.7. The bright white full screen flash on my iPad is a bit jarring though.

Hi @bbrip
We have a ticket in about this. Thanks for the report!
Hi, @Martin_Schneider , thank you for the report, I put a ticket in about this issue –
“When you use the iPad or iPhone again, ROON clears the entire screen in white”
Thanks!
