Can my DCS Bartok hook up to Nucleus with USB?
Yes I think it can, but Bartok is Roon Ready so why not use a network connection to your Bartok? The Nucleus needs network access (Internet) anyway. Even if Bartok and Nucleus sits close ethernet will be as good or better than USB.
As @ogs said, you can connect it, but sonically the best way forward is over the network, even if they are withins inches of each other.
Another thing to consider, if you care, is MQA unfolding: Over the network MQA can be fully handled on the Bartok side, over USB you’d have to unfold in Roon, then render in Bartok.
