So, I downloaded the update today in great anticipation of it fixing my problem and now the devices won’t even find the Roon core at all … OMG - can i get a refund of my lifetime subscription?

Still the same issues. I was finally able to get it to at least recognize the core, but the problem persists after the update. It got better when we changed the time zone on the Lampi to eastern US (my local time zone), but it is still there when I am changing tracks on hi rez files (anything above 44.1) FROM QOBUZ. The network map is below:

Connect your macbook remote directly to the same switch as the Lampizator
Try playing to system output of the macbook

Our team noted that they’re seeing dropouts when playing to the s/pdif output, which does indicate a network problem. You can review a trace of this below:

The issue does not occur with the MacBook laptop being used as the core server, which means that there is a roon / network / lampi conflict somewhere. The Problem with the symptoms you describe is that I do not use the spdif output, so I am not sure why that would show up in the logs. Please advise. The lampizator is an amazing machine and I cannot use it with roon.

Apologies for not being precise - I cannot use the lampi to stream Qobuz hires files via roon. That is the situation that causes roon to reboot.

Hello @nuwriy, I think James doesn’t use S/PDIF, but USB endpoint. All files from hard drive, NAS and most from qobuz are working fine. The problem didn’t occur before in different network which indicates where the problem came from. The issue only appears while playing high-res files from qobuz (the roon core restarts). I’m out of ideas what it could be but I’m pretty sure it’s network related. We can try installing Roon ROCK but I don’t think it would change anything. Hoping you can find the reason. Never had such problems with Lampizator unit.

Hi @James_Harvey,

When using the Lampizator as a Core machine are you able to play to the output of the Mac okay (instead of the USB output)?

Can you try lowering the streaming quality of Qobuz by going to Settings > Services > Qobuz and then play to the USB endpoint? Is there any change after doing so?
