Can you add a USB CD/DVD drive to Sonic Transporter i5

Hi Does anyone know if you can add an external cd/dvd drive to the ST i5 and rip from it. Or is ripping limited to the i7 model with built in drive?

I just connect a cd drive to my MacBook Pro and point it at the 2TB drive in my i5.

Sorry but that’s not what I am after. I want autoripping on the st device not my laptop.

Then you are correct the one you want is the AP i7 with the 4TB drive. I prefer the low profile of the i5 and using dBpoweramp. The music never sits on my computer.
