that’s just the URL for the station homepage and webbased player. Try this instead:

http://www.wnyc.org/stream/wqxr/mp3.pls

Thanks. I tried that and it doesn’t work. No matter what I try I get the same “Roon could not find a radio station at this url” message.

That works, although I couldn’t get any sound until I hit play several times. Where did you get that link? When will there be full integration? Bluesound, for one, has had trouble free internet radio for years now, with no need to hunt for links.

Hmmm, works for me. perhaps roon dosent read the pls file. The pls file decodes to the following link. try it. mp3 128kbs stream.

Hello @Peter_Cullen,

I found that link directly on TuneIn’s site by searching for the WQXR radio station. As @garym mentioned, there is something strange regarding that .pls but if you open it up in VLC and take the actual stream URL listed under Tools -> Media Information -> Location (http://stream.wqxr.org/wqxr), then that link works file for me as well.

As for your question regarding Roon Radio better integration, it’s on our Roadmap but I cannot comment on a timeline of when it will be released, it will only be released once it is ready to go.

Thanks for the reply. Stream.wqxr also works, however the picture of the station doesn’t resolve as it does for the other link. I do love the Roon experience, except for the radio part.
