I’m running Roon Server on a QNAP TS-470. Version : 1.7 (build 571) stable QPKG-Version : 2019-06-09.
Router is TP-Link AX6000 with QNAP connected via TP-Link AV1200 Powerline adapters.
I have 3 x RoPieee RPi4 and Roon on Android Samsung Galaxy S8, also Roon on Windows 10 laptop.
I opened Roon on Windows 10 laptop this morning and it prompted me to update Roon Server and one of the RoPieee installs. The update started, I was disconnected, and now I can no longer connect to the server on the laptop or Android.
I am shown the Choose you Roon Core screen and my NAS is shown as Ready. When I click Connect I am prompted to log in. I then see Authorizations which says I have already authorized 1 device and the only option I have is to Unauthorize my NAS.
I’ve only done the update so I would expect to just be able to connect to my NAS instance of the Server.
I also redownloaded the Server software from the NAS web interface which made no difference.
What is going wrong? I have never had this issue when updating before.
Hi . I have had exactly the same problem in updating my Nucleus +. I am being asked to deauthorize it as i can only have one core. I am concerned if I reauthorise it and then reconnect that I will lose my data. I have never had problem updating before. Please fix this urgently !!!
I upgraded ROON as per auto updates. Now all my ROON connection devices PC or iPad ask for a login in to the server which then ask me to move the server. I cannot connect to the server on any of my devices.
There is something drastically wrong with this upgrade. Can a ROON specialist explain what has gone wrong? I have also found that TIDAL is “unavailable”.
This, for someone who relies on music, and committed to a ROON solution, is not good. This needs to be fixed, ASAP.
