· I can’t make a server as I don’t have access to a computer

Tell us about your home network

· I got bell fiber opp

Roon server software runs on a computer.

So there’s nothing I can do

I think you need to read the article on Roon’s architecture…

You need a Roon Server running in your home network, either on a PC or Mac, or on a music appliance such as a Nucleus.

Hi @dylansnow430,

Thanks for reaching out.

ARC is meant to extend your Roon ecosystem outside the home network, which means you’ll still require a RoonServer machine at home to which it can connect.

This guide includes a few links on server setup to get you started:

If you describe the specific limitation you’re up against with setting up a server (on vacation away from home, etc.) we can perhaps provide some temporary workarounds.

We’ll watch for your reply. Thanks!
