I’ve installed Ropieee on my Pi4 with the Pi2AES2 hat. I’m having an issue where I can’t turn any of the services on. When I got to the services page in the settings, the audio output for each shows up as a drop-down with “Off” as the only setting.
This is particularly frustrating because in the past I had a different image of Ropieee that worked perfectly in the same set-up, but this new one doesn’t seem to let me turn on any of the services.
I have not seen it, but I am just another user like you. So have not seen all issues that Harry has gotten, only the ones I see and read here.
I have checked my services tab and all seems to work (I am on the beta train, so YMMV)
Do you have a different Hat or unit that you could try?

I suspect you have selected the wrong audio device, or it’s not working, which is why it isn’t listed. The audio page simply shows the hat you selected.
Mine shows my Hat: Digi+ Pro as an option. So it looks like it is not recognizing the Pi2AES as a viable output??? Is the device connected to the Pi2AES turned on? Have you checked the cables to the device and restarted the device?
Your screenshot also shows the drop down selector in a weird spot compared to mine.
