Description of Issue
Cant connect to Roon core (my Mac) with iphone or iPad. Get a message saying both devices need software updates (they don’t) Problem appeared 3 days ago
Sorry, but did you first uninstall Roon (by dragging it to the Trash, I believe, on MacOS) before downloading and installing the latest version of Roon from the Downloads page?

The first time I would take look at is your local network. Can you confirm that both your Roon server as well as your remote devices are all on the same local subnet?
With that, I would also temporarily disable and remove your bluesound vault from the mix while we continue to troubleshoot.
