Cant access ROON from iPhone 13 or iPad mini 6

Description of Issue

Cant connect to Roon core (my Mac) with iphone or iPad. Get a message saying both devices need software updates (they don’t) Problem appeared 3 days ago

What are the build numbers of your Roon Core and the Roon Remotes on your iPhone and iPad? Thank you.

That’s a very old build of your Roon Core - I think you need to upgrade it to the latest build (1311)

OK but what is the purpose of the “update automatically” setting, which was/is enabled?
Can I update by using the link you provided to Roon 2.0.23?

Update via the download page (and yes, the link was in that Software Release Notes post).

No luck with the updated Roon. Still get the “software update” error.

So what is the build number of the Roon Core on your Mac now?

Still the same, 1148. Update apparently was unsuccessful.

Sorry, but did you first uninstall Roon (by dragging it to the Trash, I believe, on MacOS) before downloading and installing the latest version of Roon from the Downloads page?

The first time I would take look at is your local network. Can you confirm that both your Roon server as well as your remote devices are all on the same local subnet?

With that, I would also temporarily disable and remove your bluesound vault from the mix while we continue to troubleshoot.

My Roon version was way old so I installed latest version and now all is well. Dont know why auto update didnt work?
