Can't enable Chromecast streaming device (JBL Link)

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

ubnt wifi and routing

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

JBL Link View (Google Home Hub Display)

Description Of Issue

the google home device shows up in audio list as chromecast streaming device 192.168.107.213, however when i click ENABLE nothing happens
i can ping the device and access the device via google’s google home app on iOS
the JBL link is on a vlan, i’m allowing access via my main lan (192.168.1.0/24) hence my iOS app works
and i’m alllow ports 8008, 8009, 5556, 5558, 5353, 1900, 32768-61000
any ideas what may be wrong?
