Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Cary DMS-550 connected by wifi.

Description Of Issue
I connected it and it shows up as “via Airplay” instead of “Roon Ready”. I accidentally connected it to Roon before I enabled “Roon Ready” on the DMS550 and none of the advanced setup options are available.

I can’t figure out how to remove it so I can discover it freshly on the system and do the setup correctly. Disable doesn’t do the trick.

Hi,

It sounds like a network discovery problem (Roon uses multicast packets to locate RAAT endpoints).
With some WiFi access points this can be an issue.
Check your “router” to see if it has any multicast filtering (IGMP snooping) ) options.

Are you able to connect the Cary up via hardwired ethernet cable

Hi thanks for responding. Resolution ended up being that I restarted both the DMS and the computer and it worked correctly.
