Description of Issue

Hi,

I replaced the computer serving the Roon Core (iMac 2012 to MacBook Pro 2020).

I still can access the Core with Remotes placed on an iPhone and and an iPad. But I can’t address the Core anymore via my other MacBook Pro (2022) and my other iMac (2021), as I could before. The Remotes now just keep on searching.

What’s wrong?

Thank you for advice
Thomas

Please provide details of your setup, as described in this post.

Maybe you are on the wrong wifi? All roon endpoints and remotes need to be on the same subnet as the Core

Did you reboot everything including router?

Core: Mac Book Pro 2020
Remotes: iPhone, iPad, Mac Book Pro 2022, iMac 2020
Audio 1: Auralic G1, Kharma power amps, Gamut Speakers
Audio 2: Auralic Mini, Kharma power amps, Gamut Speakers
Number of Tracks: 160 000

Same Wifi, all machines rebooted

Temporarily turn of all the Mac firewalls and see if that changes anything.

What is the roon version on the client and the core?

Optionally reinstall and remove the ~/Library/Roon* and RAAT folders when uninstalling too

Thank you. It worked. T
