Description of Issue

Some file names with Chinese characters appear as gibberish on the Roon interface. Is there an easy fix for this or do I have to manually edit each track and album?

The tracks should look something like this:

Since Roon hasn’t been ble to identify the album, the text used is likely retrieved from the embedded tags, and they are probably encoded in a way that Roon cannot understand.
Try and identify the album?
And it seems a bit like a dogs breakfast with various file formats etc? Is this really an album per se?

Hi @Ninedragonspot,

@Mikael_Ollars has put you on the right track, the album that you’ve shared in your screenshot is unidentified in Roon which means that your embedded file tags are being used. The characters in the folder screenshot are the filenames. You’ll need to import your tracks into a metadata editor to see the actual tags.
