Yes, agree.
By the way in my testing case, it’s a track downloaded in 768kHz.

Wow not seen one of those. My local files are all purchased from Qobuz and I tend to buy the highest res available. For DSD files I purchase from Native DSD and get the same format as they were originally recorded at.

They have a couple of albums in 768kHZ. But not sure it’s 768 native records…

They tell you what they’ve done. For the album you linked they write:

Original recording format is 352kHz.
The original recording is analog mixed and mastered to tape using a Studer A80.
Mastered by an HQ analog chain to both 352kHz and 768kHz.
All other formats are conversion of the original studio master.

Note: This differs for other albums, just read the description for details.
