I’m looking for a product i can use to Line Out to a speaker so i can create an endpoint for Roon. With Chromecast audio gone, what’s out there. RCA or 3.5 mini please.

I would go for a Raspberry Pi with a good DAC.

plenty of new, unopened Chromecast Audio dongles on ebay/craigslist. I have a saved search and get an alert when one comes up locally on Craigslist. But eBay’s easy enough.
So crappy they killed it. Works so well for certain things.

yep. look around you should find one at a decent price. The Video should also work with the adaptor.
