Description of Issue

After the recent update my Sony Bravia TV neither shows as an audio end point nor as display end point. (which is the functionality I use often). I can cast to the tv from other apps like YouTube or Qobuz without any issues.

I recall having to turn on my Sony Bravia TV using the power button on the TV after an update as it was not responding to the remote. Probably silly, but just want to check that you’ve actually turned the TV on?

Yeah, it’s ON at the moment but not showing up in roon. I have updated roon a week ago and I am pretty sure the TV has been turned on and off several times since.

Huh, I just restarted Roon and the issue is solved. The TV is back as both audio and display endpoints.
